Games

I love to compete..when I can win especially! If I know I'm going to lose, well then I usually avoid playing at all. That is my biggest reason for not taking up golf. Ugh. I couldn't win. anyway, since this age thing that's creeping up on me I've really slowed down the game playing. Sort of 'the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak' sort of thing! Well, all that changed today! I found a worthy competitor and an awesome game. Are you ready? Candyland!! Woo Hoo! And Isaiah and Phin love playing. So far, I haven't actually won once. That Isaiah has had more practice! (or something) But you know, at least it hasn't been too hard on my knees. No sore muscles either. I think I'll keep playing with him, and I'm bound to beat him one of these days!

Things that are a struggle

Doesn't this seem to be the story of life... mine anyway

• I shoulda bought gas yesterday, when it was still $1.79. This morning it's $1.89.
• I should a read my book last night instead of wasting it on Tv
• Why oh why didn't I take a smaller helping...all week actually. It showed up on the weigh in this morning.
• I should have thought "that" out more thoroughly. Talking to one person wasn't enough. (though it doesn't seem to matter, I never think of it all anyway)
• How did I manage to forget the ... when I was at the store? Of course I don't remember until I get home.
