Meetings,ICN,and other Library Fun

Here's one for you: Erate.

Do you remember that I did this for libraries for a whole year?

SLD,BEAR,form 470,472,480..eeek

What brought this on you might ask? I'm actually sitting in an e rate meeting re learning the ins and outs of having someone else file it for me. Believe me, you don't really want to know any more about this than absolutely necessary. It's a GOVERNMENT program. That's enough said, don't you think? They can make anything complicated and difficult! To boot, I have to actually go to a meeting about it. Wow!

Monday on the job

It's Monday, But Friday is coming! It's amazing how quickly the days fly by. There is so much for me to think about these days. I am so surprised when all of a sudden the whole day is gone...sometimes the whole week. I have a lot to get done, but some days I feel better about it than others. Everything is all of a sudden so time consuming. I got the big state report done today, and the board packets are ready for our meeting tomorrow. I have high hopes for that. I know you don't just want a summary of my day. there should be more about people and me seeing them and hearing their stories and letting God be at work and me following along with that. But today was one of those days when I didn't get out of my chair too much. Even eating an apple was too time consuming. That's not good. People first. People first. People first.

Birthday Boy

We Got to join Isaiah for his birthday this weekend. He had fun. After all what could be more fun than a day that centers totally on you! He got to pick his meals, have a cupcake for breakfast and have his favorite people in all the world join him to celebrate him! Oh, and did I mention the presents?! That was a pretty fun part of the day, too! He was very appreciative of the paper especially. And I was amazed at how much he loved underwear! Who could believe that underwear would be a hit? Not the biggest hit though. That was reserved for the nerf ring guns. Don't envy Kristin on that one. And coming down from the sugar high today? I wonder how that went? Thanks, Isaiah for letting us celebrate with you. It was great fun.
