The Forecast is Correct.

They said it would snow. And it was so. Pictures in the morning.

I'm sure you're saying "Are those two boys brothers? They sure look alike!" Isaiah (on the right) is truly his father's son. Here they both are at about age 4. And look. Nathan is intersted in food! And not too worried about his appearance. (note that his shirt is too big. What were his parents thinking of?) Can you see the little imp in both of their eyes? Wow! One good thing. Styles have changed over the past 20 or 30 years. Thank heaven. haircuts look a bit better now.
At age 4 Nathan went on his first canoe/camping trip. At age 4 he was heading off to pre school at the Y in Spencer. He found his first girl there and gave her a kiss. Didn't marry that one, though they went almost all the way through grade school and high school together. He had a tiny bike that he got to ride on the driveway outside. He did whatever his brother and sister told him to, and learned very quickly how to manipulate them too. I'm pretty sure I still lugged him around whenever I could. Still my baby! (sorry nate) At least Isaiah won't be the baby always!

I voted this morning. I had to stand in line even. The process seemed more cumbersome than it had in the past. There were questions we weren't asked before. But not to worry, I knew the answers and I could write my name! It was only a 20 min. wait at the most. The guy that harassed me at the OC library about voting for Barak Obama was some sort of observer in the corner of the room. That irritated me somewhat. I wanted to tell him I voted all right... but I would never create a scene. Ha! Hope you vote too. This is my 8th presidential election. Can you believe the first time I voted was in 1972 when you had to be 21 to vote. Don't worry, I won't tell you who I voted for even though I remember well enough.
Then for whomever is elected..."Let my People Pray..."
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.Romans 13:1-3

It is hard to believe we are into November. The weather certainly hasn't given much indication that it's November. And as far as I'm concerned it can stay this way. I've always considered November a very colorless month. It depresses me. Gray gray GREY! that's usually the best I can do. Unless of course, you add snow to the mix, then it's Gray and white. And cold. And winter can head out into being very long. But as you can see, I took a bike ride on the Puddle Jumper on Sunday and imagine...all the color! Even though most of the leaves were off the trees there was still plenty to see. So I had to share with you. At least part of November will be filled with color. Yeah!
