Family Days in Lincoln
Hey from a very warm Lincoln, NE. 98 this afternoon. But oh, have we had a great time! The Zoo, Cousin Pictures, The Farmers' Market, The Children's Museum, Family pictures, grilling, games, books, playing, bubbles, naps. One more day here. We take Amy to the airport as we leave tomorrow. It always comes too soon. Goodbyes are hard to do. But oh the memories! Here are just a couple of fun pictures. You can bet I will post more. (I took more than 200 and for the first time ever, filled up my card!)

What Color
Hey, so what color is your personality. Now, this is not something I normally even think about, but our friend, Dave and Anita were telling about what"color" their personalities were and exactly what that meant. Of course no one is exactly all one type but we usually lean heavily into one area or another. So I had to go out and google around and see if there were tests on line. That's mainly because I was shocked at my friends' assessment of my personality. Not that it was bad or anything, it was just not who I see myself as. I suppose that might be typical-people sometimes missing whtat their personality traits are, or not seeing how their words or actions might come across to other people. Anyway, here are a couple of quizzes I took. I found out that my friends hit the mark pretty close when it came to my personality according to these tests. Well, they have known me for more than 20 years....

Hey We're back from camping!
So you know I'm going to tell you that our camping trip was a great success! We did a lot of biking (enought that Ron and Lauren complained about How much, how far and how hot) hiking, sleeping, eating and even reading! There were unusual sights-a railroad museum, an Indian massacre site, a bird island, a Sunday morning worship service that made us say, "Wow, what a great ministry to people" and the most "been there done that, glad it's you and not me" moment-people trying to row a boat into 40mph wind. (it didn't work too well for them) It was good to be with friends and to get away and relax. Think about joining us sometime!
